In 2004 South Africa celebrated its 10th year of democratic rule and the end of apartheid. I wanted to see how this monumental change in politics had affected ordinary South Africans. I met and photographed people I met on my travels. I asked if they minded having there picture taken and then to answer the following questions. What were they doing now? What had they been doing in 1994? What wishes did they have for the future and what could they see themselves doing in 10 years time?
