Zute Lightfoot Photography.

I am based in London and currently work mainly for the local press. I enjoy covering this varied patch of West London that stretches from Fulham's boathouses to the mosques and temples of Southall. Working for a local newspaper demands a variety of photographic skills including news, sports, features and portraiture - often all in the same morning!

Previous to this I spent four years working at Impact Photos - An Independent photography agency that specialsed in travel and reportage. I joined as post boy and worked my way up to Picture Editor getting to know the thousands of images in the agency archive. I studied the many compositions, light, techniques, places and situations that crossed my light box over the years before concluding that I wanted to get behind a camera not a light box.

Since then I have travelled extensively in Sub Saharan Africa and Europe shooting stock and features. My work has been published in international publications including Time magazine, The Guardian, The Times, The Sunday Times and Geo magazine. I have many undertaken assignments for Corporate and PR clients including Toshiba, Bechtel Engineering corporation, LAMDA - The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, Brent and Ealing Councils.
